Uintah County has a total of 1401.54 miles of road which consists of 570 miles of paved roads and over 700 miles of gravel road to maintain each year. We have 24 employees. We are kept busy with snow removal, preparing natural asphalt for road projects, and building up roads for summer time paving. We also grade and patch roads, maintain the road right of ways, cutting weeds, trimming trees where there is a visibility problem, and we co-ordinate with UTSSD on their current projects concerning roads. |
